Chinese Expedition Near Top of Highest Icecap

The highest icecap in Antarctica is simply called Dome A. Dome A has an elevation of 4,093 meters. A Chinese expedition is set to reach the top of it soon with it being within 100 kilometers of the top yesterday. The conditions for their trek are not all that pleasant even though it is summer down in Antarctica.
