New Hi Definition Map of Antarctica

Earlier this week NASA unveiled a new high definition map of Antarctica. It was created by compiling together nearly cloudless satellite images of the continent and was done in true color. It is made up of over 1,000 images and the only part of the continent that is missing is the area around the South Pole. This mapped is called the Landsat Image Mosaic of Antarctica.
